Netsuke

Edo Gamma Sennin netsuke. 18th century netsuke made from boxwood. In good worn condition. The himotoshi goes from the back to the sleeve. €625-

Palembang keris

A Keris Palembang. Very good example. Wood sheath, Ivory ukiran. The blade is typical Palembang work, It shows traces of Kinatah work. The blade fits perfectly in the sheath. Total length 47 cm (sheated). 19th century. €425-

Keris Picit

A Keris Picit. Very nice example, clear thumb inprints. Lenght 25 cm. It comes with a plane darkwood sheath. The age of these Keris Picit or their relatives the Keris Sajen are very difficult to determine. This piece has the overall appearance of being an older piece. Probably 19th century or earlier. €225-

Aceh

A Achenese sirihcloth decoration, Sumatra. Low grade silver, nicely decorated. Consists of eleven tools. In overall good condition, the small lime container has a tear in one of the welds. €175-

Keris Celebes

A Keris from Celebes, Sulawesi. Very big example. Wood sheath, Sea ivory ukiran. The ukiran has a 5-pointed star carved in it. The blade is typical Bugis work, big, heavy, razor-sharp and slightly bend forwards. It has a clear pamor with at the base possibly a reference to a praying monk. The blade sticks a little bit out of the sheath, like it should with Celebes keris. Total length 46 cm (sheated). 19th century. €650-

A published bracelet from the Batak on Sumatra. Heavy cast piece made from bronze. Dating from the 19th century. Outer diameter approx 9 cm. It is published in the magazine ‘Female’ back in 1978. Issue 16-6-1978. The article will be provided with the bracelet. In good condition. €250-

Batak Duri-Duri

Sold-Batak Duri-Duri ear jewelry, 19th century, silver gilt. A scarce piece of Batak jewelry with Sumatran origin. Perfect condition, hard to find.

Java Peranakan

Sold-Javanese silver jewelry in the form of a fish, 19th century, silver. A very scarce piece of Javanese jewelry with Peranakan/chinese influence. Worn by Chinese boys living on Java Indonesia. Perfect condition, extremely hard to find. Ex Aalderink Amsterdam.

Malay Keris

Sold- Malay keris, Terengganu, 19th century. A very nice Malay keris with pamor adeg. The pamor consists of three broad lines moving towards the tip. In between the broad lines there are very fine pamor lines moving upwards to the tip. It is a rather ‘chunky’ blade. Total length sheated 44cm. The blade including the jawa demam ukiran measures 41cm. 9 luk. The overall state is very good. Some nice carvings on the handle and sheath.

Jambi Keris

Sold – Jambi keris with hilt. Scabbard and pendokok missing. 19th century, Sumatra. A very fine executed pamor blade. Rare find.

Coteng

Sold – Coteng keris hilt, unknown age. Malay/Thailand. Made of brass. Lost wax method. W 13cm, H 7,3cm. Very fine details.

Sold. Keris Java Surakarta, 19th/early 20th cent. A very nice keris with Buntil Mayat/Mayit pamor, also (mistakenly) known as or referred to as ‘death shroud pamor’. Straight wilah, nicely executed. Overal state is very good. Fit of the blade in the wranka is perfect. Wranka is made of a very nice wood type. Copper pendok. The mendak with intan.

Tajong

Sold. Keris Tajong, pandai saras. Malay, 19th cent. A very nice keris Tajong. 7 luk. Total length 60cm. Wood sheath and handle. Overal state is very good. Fit of the blade in the wranka is perfect. Wranka is made of a very nice burl wood.

Sold. Tanimbar earring, Moluccas, 19th century. Made from bronze. The earring has a very nice patina. It is worn as a singular piece.
